Just a quick "Hello" as I really should be busy with the needles - our event is just two weeks away...argh! Getting a little nervous now...lots to do and it's birthday season...very thing is happening at once...help

Hello, no we aren't showing a collection of needles - just what I have produced from them - that and items from my sewing machine and my daughter is making jewellery. A friend has talked me into setting up a small business and we have a sale on soon so my fingers are very busy. I've had to take time out from the needles - my fingers are hurting!! Maurice thinks it's great to chase the wool and sleep amongst the materials - hope people don't notice a few cat hairs!!

The show was on Sunday - my daughter's jewellery did very well, as did my sewing but there wasn't much interest in the bags - unfortunately only friends and family turned up and they weren't in the market for the bags. We are planning on attending some Christmas craft markets later in the year but at least I now have a stock of bags and can ease off the pace a bit - it has been manic here! I'm now able to catch up on the housework and gardening, but I think I'm addicted to knitting-I printed off a free pattern from the internet last night for a shrug!!
